Dearest Community

Happy spring! T'is the season of new beginnings, blooming flowers and longer days. How are you feeling as we transition out of winter and into spring? For me, this has been a time of aha! moments. One example is the realisation that I've formed a habit of minimising my dreams under the guise of being practical. Time to cut that OUT. My new motto is dream big, baby: don't condense your dreams down to fit into the "real" world; dream so big that the world grows as you realise them.

With love
Melanie

Unravel the Thread by Rubén Vásquez
A yogi local to St Pete, FL, Rubén Vásquez puts decades worth of his practice into his book, Unravel the Thread. Expected to go on sale in May, the book explains ancient yogic wisdom in simple everyday language. I've enjoyed the read so much that I've been closing my Tuesday classes with dips into passages that have particularly spoken to me. Can't wait till May to score your copy? You can read excerpts on Rubén's blog or tune into his Podcast for the audio version.

Intention for the month: imagination

Following the past two months' more serious intentions of grounding and focussed attention, I want to explore the lighter side of life in April. With an intention like imagination, not even the sky's the limit. As we let our minds wander, we can relish in our curiosities, nurture the child or artist within and even break through to deep healing.

I invite you to join me in letting your imagination run wild this month, perhaps starting by journaling, meditating or simply reflecting on the prompts below.

I would love to hear what your intention for April is and any insights that came up for you in this exercise. You can share them with me by replying to this email.
